Farpoint Highlights Its Case Study of Proactive Action In Preserving Water Resources
Farpoint became the first real estate company in Indonesia to participate in the GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark) Survey aimed at evaluating and improving sustainability practices in the global real estate sector.
The results of the survey are organized into an annual sustainability report, in which the 2014 edition was published on Thursday (4/9).
Seven aspects of GRESB sustainability measured include Management, Policy & Disclosure, Risks & Opportunities, Environmental Monitoring & Management Systems, Performance Indicators, Building Certification, and Stakeholder Involvement.
Farpoint highlighted the case of innovation with a proactive strategy in managing water resources. This strategy involves the implementation of the Versitank water and waste treatment system at Citi Square Business Park in Kalideres, and the implementation of Rainwater Harvesting System at VERDE Apartments in Kuningan.
The value of this strategy goes beyond improving the efficiency of water consumption; but this system of strategies contributes to creating an enhanced positive environmental impact on the urban environment.
