The Hundred, Mixed-Use Development from Farpoint, Receives 2014 MIPIM Asia Award for Best Futura Project
The Hundred, Farpoint’s new mixed-use development in Jakarta, has received the 2014 Bronze Award for Best Futura Project at MIPIM Asia, a leading real estate-industry conference. The honor comes just two weeks after the groundbreaking for the dramatic, 120,000-square-meter, U-shaped tower, which includes a Sofitel five-star hotel, exclusive residences, International Grade A offices and retail space. The tower designed by Woods Bagot is expected to open in phases from mid-2018 to early 2019.
The project is driven by Farpoint's vision to create a business and lifestyle hub which defines the new generation of business and lifestyle facilities that will complement the ease of living and doing business in one of the key business districts that will support the upcoming business growth in Jakarta. This is Farpoint's second to project to receive the MIPIM Awards after Sequis Tower received The Best Futura Project in 2013.
"We are proud to create this development as our way of thinking beyond towards the needs which will arise from the business growth in Jakarta, and we are confident that The Hundred can fulfill these needs." says Jusup Halimi, Chief Executive Officer of FARPOINT on The Hundred groundbreaking ceremony held on site.
“Farpoint set a high bar for creating a landmark that will have a positive impact through its environmental performance, advanced workplace design, and enhancement of the Mega Kuningan district,” said Patrick Daly, Woods Bagot’s Regional Executive Chairman of North America. “By carefully analyzing the site conditions and building systems, we were able to craft an integrated design that fulfills Farpoint’s vision and their philosophy to Think Beyond."
